Mariners are advised that bridge reconstruction
activities are in progress on the NY 169 Bridge (E-30A),
over the Erie Canal. This bridge is located immediately
east of Lock E-17, in Little Falls.
Reconstruction activities will not impact navigation
and will continue for the remainder of the 2009
navigation season.

may sign up for automatic e-mail and text message alerts
through the Canal TRANSalert service. This service is
offered to notify mariners of major incidents and
