Mariners are advised that bridge construction activities are in
progress at the Clay Hill Bridge (Bridge C-23), in Ft. Ann. These
construction activities are scheduled to continue until August 22,
2008.
Boaters should expect periodic delays at this location. If there
is a signal person present, please wait for clearance to pass.
Please reduce speed to 5 mph while transiting from either direction.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor
1-800-4CANAL4 and www.nyscanals.gov. Additionally, mariners may sign
up for automatic e-mail and text message alerts through the new
Canal TRANSalert service. This service is offered to notify mariners
of major incidents and emergencies that may affect navigation on the
