NEW YORK STATE CANAL SYSTEM

Mariners are advised that they may experience periodic delays at Lock O-6 and Lock O-7 in the City of Oswego on Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Divers will be conducting underwater inspections from 10 AM until 2 PM at these locks.

Boaters are reminded to use caution when approaching these locations.

Additionally, mariners may sign up for automatic e-mail and text message alerts through the new Canal TRANSalert service. This service is offered to notify mariners of major incidents and emergencies that may affect navigation on the New York State Canal System.
