NEW YORK STATE CANAL SYSTEM

Mariners are advised that the floating docks and the bulkhead wall at the Waterford Canal Harbor will be closed to vessel traffic from 3 PM on Thursday, July 3rd to 8 AM on Monday, July 7th for the Waterford Steamboat Meet. The Waterford floating docks will be reserved for participating steamboats and tour boats and portions of the bulkhead wall will be reserved for the Tug Urger, fireworks scow and other participating vessels.

Alternate vessel docking for transient recreational craft will be available in the Waterford Flight at Erie Lock 3 beginning at 8 AM on Thursday, July 3rd and for the duration of the event.

The floating docks at Waterford will re-open for public docking at 8 AM on Monday, July 7th on a space available basis.

Additionally, mariners may sign up for automatic e-mail and text message alerts through the new Canal TRANSalert service.
