MARINERS

Mariners are advised of marine construction activities in the
vicinity of Lock E-7 in Niskayuna beginning on Wednesday, August
15th. No adverse impacts or delays to navigation are anticipated.
Work to construct a “fish ladder” in this location is expected to
last approximately one week. Several barges and work craft will be
on location in this area during this period, and monitoring VHF
marine-band channel 13.
Though operations will be conducted primarily outside the navigation
channel, mariners are requested to proceed with caution and to
transit this area at a “no wake” speed.
