Canal Clean Sweep
The 5th Annual Canal Clean Sweep is scheduled to take place during the weekend of April 16 - 18, 2010. Register your event now by visiting Parks & Trails NY's website, http://www.ptny.org/canalway/sweep/index.shtml.

Canalway Trail Celebration
The 7th Annual Canalway Trail Celebration is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2010, to coincide with National Trails Day. Registration information will be available soon. Cycling the Erie Canal Bike Tour
The 12th Annual Cycling the Erie Canal is scheduled to take place July 11, 2010 through July 18, 2010. This 400-mile bike ride from Buffalo to Albany travels along the Erie Canalway Trail and draws hundreds of cyclists each year from around the country and world. Registration opens 1-1-10. Canal Splash!
The 5th Annual Canal Splash! is scheduled to take place during the weekend of August 13, 2010 through August 15, 2010. The Canal Splash! is a coordinated series of locally organized events and activities that celebrate the beauty, history, culture and recreational appeal of the Canal System. Register your event now.

2010 World Canals Conference
During the week of September 19-24, 2010, the World Canals Conference will take place in Rochester! The conference theme is "Canals in the Community Setting, New York State, and Worldwide: Challenges and Opportunites". The conference will highlight the New York State Canal System and will also have a strong national and international focus.
